Lake Toya hot springs, only lightly affected by the eruptions of Usu Volcano, have been reborn to be a new hot spring resort town featuring its comfortable winter for the relatively warm climate and few snowfall. Soubetsu hot springs are located on the southern shore of Lake Toya and commanding a stunning view of the active Usu Volcano and Showa Shinzan on the back. The soubetsu hot spring village is surrounded by a unique natural environment featuring a different beauty from the neighboring Lake Toya hot springs.
Lake Toya Cruise
The sightseeing boat cruises Lake Toya during Apr. ? Oct. and a fireworks sightseeing cruise is run nightly during the Long-Run Fireworks Display season. 15 minutes from the hotel on foot.

Nishiyama Crater Promenade
The craters were created by the eruption of Usu Volcano in 2000. The visitors can still see the buildings destroyed by the crustal deformations and volcanic cinders in a short distance.

Showa Shinzan is an active volcano newly rose in the year of Showa 18 (1943). It is one of the youngest volcanoes in the 20th century and well recorded about its eruptions.

Long-Run Fireworks Display
The 20 minutes fireworks display lights up the sky of Lake Toya on every night during April to October. The spectacular display can be also enjoyed on the water aboard a fireworks sightseeing cruise.

Showa Shinzan Bears Farm
